RTFC Auction Results - 21st May 2013
5 million RTFCs sold
The scheduled monthly RTFC auction took place on 21st May with 5 million certificates sold. The average price achieved was 15.5p for Period 6 certificates for September delivery.
This is the first time that certificates for future delivery have been sold on the e-TOC auction platform.
Remember the RTFC auction allows sellers to sell certificates to be issued at a later date and revise their reserves, if necessary, during the auction. Buyers have the ability to offer prices to sellers lower than the set reserves, a bid and offer type approach
The next auction is due to take place on Tuesday 18th June 2013.
Dates for future monthly auctions are:

• Tuesday 20th August 2013
• Tuesday 24th September 2013
• Tuesday 22nd October 2013
• Tuesday 19th November 2013
• Tuesday 17th December 2013

Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation
(Amendment) Order 2009
The order which comes into force on 15 April 2009 sets the obligation
levels on total fuel supplied to be:

| 2009/10 | 3.25 |
| 2010/11 | 3.50 |
| 2011/12 | 4.00 |
| 2012/13 | 4.50 |
| 2013/14 | 5.00 |
| Subsequent years | 5.00 |
For the first two periods of the Order the buyout price will be 15p per litre.
